The Everest Panorama trek- 09 Days is designed for special group of trekkers who don’t have enough physical fitness to do the Everest Base Camp trek but dream to see Everest close. Likewise it is an idle trip for short time trekkers and also for beginner trekkers. Everest Panorama trek is shorter and relatively easier than Everest Base Camp Trek but still the trials are somehow steeper and you can experience both thrill and adventure along with hypnotizing beauty of Everest region.
Like the other treks in the Everest region, this trek also begins with a scenic flight to Lukla. Since, Lukla is the main entrance to Everest region every trek begins from here. The treks you through the picturesque villages, rives, jungles and farmlands of the Everest region. The maximum altitude gained in this trek is 3680 meters in Tengboche. There you will visit the oldest monastery of the Everest region which is Tengboche monastery. Moreover, the hospitality of Sherpa people is one of a kind. The Sherpa’s in the Everest region are hospitable and kind. It is said that you visit Nepal for Everest and return back for people. The awe-inspiring view of Mt.Everest and other peaks like Thamserku, Ama Dabalam, Cho Oyu and the ever friendly Sherpa’s will make your trek a life changing experience.
Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Flight to Lukla from Kathmandu and trek to Phakding.
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar.
Day 04: Rest Day in Namche Bazaar.
Day 05: Trek to Tengboche.
Day 06: Trek back to Jorsale.
Day 07: Trek to Lukla.
Day 08: Fly Back to Kathmandu.
Day 09: Departure from Kathmandu.
Welcome to Nepal. Upon your arrival, our World Expedition representatives will be waiting to receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport with your name card. After a warm gesture, they transfer you to the respective hotel in a private vehicle. You will meet your trekking guide today depending upon the time of your arrival. Overnight in Kathmandu.
An early morning domestic flight from Kathmandu directly takes you to Lukla. The flight is short and scenic. You will notice the sudden change in the environment right after stepping at Lukla Airport. The trek then goes down towards Dudh Koshi River. After that you will walk through green landscapes and a gradual walk takes you to Phakding Village. The view of Kusum Kangararu will be welcoming you throughout the way. Overnight at Phakding.
After an early morning breakfast at Phakding. The trial ascends towards Namche Bazaar which is known as one of the highest altitude market of the world. You will walk through the bank of Dudh Koshi River and cross several suspension bridges on your way. After that you will pass by Monjo Village and arrive at Sagarmatha check point. The trials then go through several Sherpa villages, dense forests and landscapes froe few hours until you arrive Namche. Namche is a major trading center for people living in Everest region. There you will find restaurants, internet cafes, bank, ATM and shops. Overnight at Namche
Today you will have a rest day in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization. You will hike to Everest view hotel for the sunrise view and have breakfast there. After that you will trek back to Namche Bazaar and roam around the market. Namche Bazaar is also a home to the most of the Sherpa’s engaged in tourism in Nepal. You will also visit the Everest photo gallery and museum in Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
After having breakfast at Namche, you will start your trek to Tengboche today. The trial today goes through yak pastures where you can see the yaks grazing. You will have a wonderful view of Mt.Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and other mountains along the way. The trial goes to Dudh Koshi river via Kyangjuma. About 2 hours walk from there will take you to Tengboche where you will vist the biggest and the oldest monastery of this region i.e. Tengboche monastery. The monastery opens everyday at 4 in the afternoon. The view of the Everest from there is stunning along with other mountains.
You will have breakfast at Tengboche and then star the trek. The trek today goes through lush rhododendron and pine forests and some small settlements on the way. The trial consists of mostly downhill trials. You will have your lunch at Namche and after then a few hours walk will take you to Jorsale. It is a small village in the Khumbu Region. Overnight at Jorsale.
After breakfast at Jorsale you will descend to Lukla. The trial today is quite tricky and steeper as you will walk through rocky cliffs all the way to Dudh Koshi River. After then the trial crosses the suspension bridge and passes through some villages. From Phakding a short walk will take you to Lukla. Overnight at Lukla.
An early morning flight with short scenic views of the mountains will drop you to Kathmandu Airport. Our representatives of world expedition Nepal will be waiting for you there. They will transfer you to the respective hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu.
