Tilicho Lake with Thorung La Pass trek starts with a drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar. We'll be on a road trip for the next day to Chame, at 2,670 meters, a beautiful village in Manang. From Manang, we'll begin our hike to the wonderful Pisang village at 3,200 meters.
We'll have our first acclimatization stay at Manang before making our way to Khangsar. Two routes begin from Manang, one to Thorong Phedi, a direct route, and another to Tilicho Lake.
We'll reach Tilicho Base at 4,1500 meters with one day of a hike from Khangsar. Climbers of Tilicho Peak also make Tilicho Base acclimatize and prepare for the climbing period. We'll trek to Tilicho Lake in the morning. We'll hike to Siri Kharka at 3,930 meters for overnight sleep.
We'll hike to Yak Kharka, Thorong High Camp, and Thorung La Pass in the following days. After crossing Thorung La Pass, we'll descend down to Muktinath and Jomsom. We'll hike to Muktinath for sightseeing and religious outing before flying to Pokhara.
We'll have an after-party and a half-day buffer for sightseeing around Pokhara before flying to Kathmandu.
Tilicho Lake and Thorong La Pass trek follow tea house-based accommodation. The quality of tea houses is decent, with comfortable overnights.
You'll get the best accommodation at lower altitude tea houses. They offer solar-heated showers, attached bathrooms, and internet. But, you have to pay extra charges for these additional services. Tea houses at high altitudes like Yak Kharka and Tilicho Base offer essential accommodations. You have to accommodate a twin sharing basis at tea houses throughout the trek. We'll assure you that you'll get comfortable overnight sleep. We also recommend you bring a decent sleeping bag for this trip.

You will land in Kathmandu and meet a representative from your travel agency at Tribhuvan International Airport.
The representative from your agency will welcome you and take you to the hotel.
You can take a rest and talk to your guide about the trek.
After breakfast, you will take a vehicle to Besisahar. It takes around 6-7 hours to reach the Besisahar.
You can take another bus from Besisahar to go to Ngadi.
Once you reach Ngadi, you will stay overnight there.
Chamje is like 7 hours away from Nagdi.
You will begin your trek journey early in the morning after breakfast. You will walk through rice paddy fields and beautiful enchanting forests.
You will pass villages like Bahundanda and Syange on your way to Chamje.
After reaching Chamje, you can rest and spend a night in the lovely lodge after a good dinner.
On your fourth day, your trail to Dharapani is not very easy. You will pass through different landscapes. You will reach Tal after walking for a few hours.
And you can reach Dharapani in around an hour's trek.
You can stay in a good hotel and have local cuisine before retiring for a day.
You will see a few trekkers walking on the Manaslu and Annapurna trek routes.
On the way to Chame, you will see an astounding view of Manaslu. You will also pass through beautiful villages like Thanchowk and Koto.
You will spend the overnight at a good hotel in Chame village.
Trekking from Chame to Pisang village, you will walk and enjoy the entire trail, which is full of mesmerizing views.
You will see those spectacular views of the mountains along the route. You will enjoy the view of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna. The beautiful forest on the way will give you refreshing vibes.
After having a delicious meal, you will spend your night at a comfortable lodge.
On the trail route to Manang, you will get to observe the spectacular views of nature.
You will make your way to the Manang through Gyaru. Through the trail, you see rivers and lakes. You will see the stunning views of the Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak.
You will only reach Manang after you pass through lovely villages like Ngwal and Braga.
Once you reach, you can take a rest and stay overnight after dinner.
Once you reach Manang, you are already at an altitude of approximately 3500m.
This altitude asks for acclimatization. Your health is essential, so you will spend your day in Manang to adjust your body to the temperature.
You will explore the Manang area and interact with local people.
Or you can just hike to Ice lake or Gangapurna Lake.
You will take a rest and prepare for your next day's trek.
Though the trail route is relatively easy, you will start your trek early in the morning.
There are two trails in the way that will lead you to Khangsar. You can opt for any trail from these two ones.
You will see a beautiful forest and reach Khangsar in around 5 to 6 hours.
On your tenth day of the trek, you will start your journey to go to Tilicho Base Camp.
Remarkably beautiful landscapes, pastures, and grazing livestock are the best part of this day's trek.
You will pass Shree kharka, and you may find the trail after it is pretty complex. But, it is nothing to worry about. You will have an experience of a challenging and steep path.
After you get through the difficult part of the trek route, you will finally reach the Tilicho Base camp.
You will start your trek journey early in the morning so you can get to Tilicho lake as soon as possible.
The thrill of watching the lake and observing the view is worth it. The lake is genuinely mesmerizing at the highest altitude in the world.
After enjoying the lake trek, you can come back to the base camp and take a rest.
On your twelfth day, you will be making your way back.
You will take the route along Shree Kharka and head towards the Yak Kharka. You will see some beautiful landscapes, farmlands, and pastures with livestock.
You will stay overnight at Yak Kharka.
You will head towards Thorong High Camp the next day.
The trail is quite complex, and you will have to be careful. You will walk towards Thorong Phedi.
You can take a little break in between if you want to, but you can hike up to Thorong High Camp.
You can spend the night in this camp.
The route from Thorong High Camp To Muktinath is quite tricky.
You will start your trek journey as early as possible. You will pass Thorong La Pass. You can enjoy the view of the Mustang also from the Pass.
You can walk slowly and carefully until you reach Muktinath.
You will spend your night and take a rest.
You can visit the Muktinath temple, a sacred temple for Hindus and Buddhists.
After some breakfast, you will take a drive to the Tatopani. For drive, you can either get on a local bus or jeep.
On the way, you will see lovely villages like Jomsom, Syange, Marpha, etc.
Once you reach there, you can take a bath and relax in the natural hot spring.
You will stay overnight and retire after dinner.
On the sixteenth day, you will walk towards the famous Thakali villages.
You will admire the enchanting forests, majestic Himalayas, and beautiful farmlands.
You will make your way to Ghorepani village, and once you reach there, you can spend your night there.
Once you wake up in the lovely village, you can take your time to hike up to Poon hill. There you can see the astonishing view of sunrise and snow-clad mountains.
After you walk back to the Ghorepani, you can have some food there. And then you will head to Birethanti to take a drive from there.
You will reach Pokhara in around 2 hour drive and stay overnight there.
You can stay in a luxury hotel there and relax for a night.
You will take a 6 to 7 hours drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Before taking a drive to leave for Kathmandu, you can stroll around the lakeside or visit the Talbarahi Temple of Phewa lake.
You stay a night at your hotel after a meal.
You can shop for souvenirs in Kathmandu. You will meet your representative from a travel agency and leave for the airport.
